"Hello" and welcome to my website. My name is Kylie Lyons. I have a tertiary background in graphic design specialising in Photomedia from UWS Nepean and I am the owner and principal photographer here at Handprint Photography

.I have a long haired Chihuahua dog called Monty who comes to work (nearly) everyday, I drink chai latte at 11am on the dot. I love eBay and fairy bread. I also love buying and making beaded jewellery and  I actually LOVE coming to work in my studio at The Old St Thomas Chapel. (I can hear my daughter saying "Mum you're sooooo embarrassing"!)

I like to work with a personal approach which means you deal with me on an intimate basis from first consultation through to final delivery of albums and framed prints. Due to my friendly nature, more often than not clients turn into friends and it's not uncommon for me to be photographing pregnancy and baby and family portraits several years down the track.

I have a winning style of "working in the background" and paying close attention to details. That saw me awarded the NSW AIPP Portrait photographer of the year 2000 and the  NSW AIPP Creative Award in 2009. I have also won other numerous photography awards both at a State and National Level.

I am a Master of Photography I and Honorary Life Member with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP).
I am also on the current National AIPP Board.

I like to "say it how it is". I'm honest, genuine and very loyal. I always feel very privileged to be asked to photograph people at important times of their lives.
